Das Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik (BSI) hat am 21.12.2025 ein Update zu einer am 07.10.2025 bekanntgewordenen Sicherheitslücke mit mehreren Schwachstellen für Golang Go herausgegeben. Betroffen von der Sicherheitslücke sind die Betriebssysteme UNIX und Windows sowie die Produkte Amazon Linux 2, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Fedora Linux, SUSE Linux, Oracle Linux, SUSE openSUSE, RESF Rocky Linux, Golang Go, Open Source OpenTofu, Red Hat OpenShift und IBM App Connect Enterprise.

Zur Einschätzung der Verwundbarkeit von Computersystemen wird das Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) angewandt. Der CVSS-Standard ermöglicht es, potenzielle oder tatsächliche Sicherheitslücken auf Basis verschiedener Metriken miteinander zu vergleichen, um eine darauf aufbauende Prioritätenliste zur Einleitung von Gegenmaßnahmen zu erstellen. Für die Schweregrade einer Schwachstelle werden die Attribute "keine", "niedrig", "mittel", "hoch" und "kritisch" verwendet. Der Base Score bewertet die Voraussetzungen für einen Angriff (u.a. Authentifizierung, Komplexität, Privilegien, Userinteraktion) sowie dessen Konsequenzen. Beim Temporal Score fließen über die Zeit veränderbare Rahmenbedingungen in die Bewertung ein. Das Risiko der aktuellen Schwachstelle wird nach dem CVSS mit einem Base Score von 8,2 als "hoch" eingestuft.

Golang Go Bug: Beschreibung des Angriffs

Go ist eine quelloffene Programmiersprache.

Ein Angreifer kann mehrere Schwachstellen in Golang Go ausnutzen, um einen Denial of Service Angriff durchzuführen oder andere, nicht näher spezifizierte Angriffe durchzuführen.

Klassifiziert wurden die Schwachstellen mithilfe des CVE-Referenziersystems (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) durch die individuellen Seriennummern CVE-2025-47912, CVE-2025-58183, CVE-2025-58185, CVE-2025-58186, CVE-2025-58187, CVE-2025-58188, CVE-2025-58189, CVE-2025-61723, CVE-2025-61724 und CVE-2025-61725.
