54 year old director Lee Daniels has compared directing to "giving birth".
His latest movie 'The Butler' is in cinemas now, and Daniels has said that when he's choosing features to work on, it has to speak to his heart.
The film follows Cecil Gaines, who serves eight presidents as a butler at the White House in the 1950's and 60's.
Speaking about his experience as a director, Daniels said "you have to live this; it's like giving birth." and almost as if validating his statement, ended it by saying he's "got stretch marks to-boot. This ain't no joke"
We're definitely not looking for any proof from Lee, but at least we can see he's passionate about his films, and he has a very special way of getting his point across.
